So the last 6 months have seen me learning the course for the AWS Professional Architect Certification. There’s a lot of it. Think of it like a pub quiz with infinite questions.
I did the bulk of the course via Cantrill which was my fist ever BTC purchase! and I also did the Stephane Marek course on Udemy as well to cover the ground from another angle.
I sat the exam yesterday, Tuesday 26th September 2023 and waited 24 hours and lo and behold, I got it!
I honestly thought I’d never make it because there’s so much information to absorb. There’s 75 questions in 3 hours that take every second to answer and take nearly all your time just to understand and then you have to answer with a multiple choice answer, all of which are extremely plausible, in fact, in the whole exam, I think I only read about five answers that were total garbage and could be ruled out after reading the first few words of the answer.
I’ve been so focused on the exam, I’ve forgotten how it is to just live without thoughts such as “gotta do more study bro”, “You ain’t gonna make it m8.” and “You haven’t got the beans. Got no more magic my friend. Accept defeat. People will understand you haven’t got the mojo. #nomojo”
So what now? Well, I’ve signed up for the Cantrill Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional and am listening to the intro stuff as I write.
I’m looking forward to this course actually, should be good. I’ll let you know.
